God will make a way

Thank you to everyone who prayed for our trip to Tidewater! The interview at Regent went wonderfully, and we came away from it with such a peace that this is God's will. A huge blessing that came out of the interview experience was that there are a couple of job opportunities for us there, with the possibility of free tuition. This was extremely unexpected and we are praising God for making this possible! Please continue to pray that everything goes well with John's school application and with our employment application process.
We had a great time Friday with my best friend Heather and her husband Jason. It was a very special time at their home in Suffolk, and we left with a brand new TV! woohoo ... thanks Heather! :) They also took us to look at an adorable home down the street from them. It might be a little out of our price range, but God can do anything, so we're keeping it in our prayers.
Sunday was amazing - we went to church with John's family. His parents and his sister and her family go to Avalon Hills Bible Church, which happens to be right across the street from Regent! There was an awesome message, but the best part for me was the worship ... WOW! The spirit of God was definitely there! One of the songs that really touched us on Sunday was God will make a way:
God will make a way
Where there seems to be no way.
He works in ways we cannot see;
He will make a way for me.
He will be my guide,
Hold me closely to His side.
With love and strength for each new day;
He will make a way
He will make a way.
... this was exactly the encouragement and confirmation we needed after our weekend. God works in wonderful ways, and we are in awe of his love for us.
