2 Timothy 3:12

"In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted."

Don't be surprised, don't be mad ... be ready. It will happen.

Yes..so true!!

We should be worried if we're not facing persecution.

Yep.

I get confused when people say that Christians who are living by God's word should have an easy life or be successful, rich, whatever. Where is that in the Bible??? If I am blessed, I thank God, because He's chosen to bestow His blessings on me. I am unworthy. I always have been and always will. But if God chose to take those blessings away, I would still be His child -- and that's the greatest blessing of all.

I love your new profile picture too :) I totally agree with this post....reminds me of a favorite quote from Denver Moore from his book "What Difference Do It Make?" He says "Listen, if the devil ain't messin with you, he's already got you."

Have a Happy Thanksgiving!!

Doesn't this verse put things in perspective? Do we really want Him or not? Thanks, Lauren.

It is true. And sometimes persecution reminds us that we are on the right track--the narrow one! This made me stop and think.

I have to agree with everyone else--you're profile picture is just beautiful, Lauren!

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving day. We cannot measure the goodness of our God and all He has blessed us with...so much to thank Him for.

Praying His blessings of peace, love, and joy for you and your family.
