{our little valentine}

Today we received confirmation of our February 14th embassy date! Tucker will become a US Citizen on Valentines Day! We can't think of a better gift of love than to be able to bring our son home with us forever.

I went out and bought a valentines day bib for our little valentine yesterday - you better believe he'll be wearing it for his appointment with the US Embassy!

We're still on cloud 9 and doubt we'll come down any time soon. We booked our tickets today and they were actually cheaper than when we looked them up yesterday... much cheaper! We leave on Wednesday - less than a week! Tucker's suitcase is all packed as is the diaper bag. We have one bag full of donations for the 2 orphanages and ours is halfway done. Now we're getting things done around the house to get ready for a baby living here! Happy Day :)

Made me cry reading this-good friends of mine from AR that were adopting had their adoption finalized on Thanksgiving-I thought the same thing what a great day-so much to be thankful for and your day-what a special day-the day you will bring home the baby you have loved and wanted for so long. God is so good.
My Derek got baptized on Valentines two years ago.
It will always be a special day for us.
So happy for you all.
Hugs
Jill

It's nearly 2am and I'm wishing in a major way that I would be spending Valentine's Day with you, John, Betsy, and her mom at the US Embassy in Ethiopia in about 8 days.

Hello, I just started reading your blog starting with having to leave your baby behind.

Reading your blog today brings tears to my eyes as I am so happy that you finally get to bring your son home.

I am the mom of two little ones and have a hard time leaving the for a 12 hr shift, I could imagine leaving them half way around the world.

I hope God gives you strength as you travel to bring your son home.
