I mean WOW! So much talent! I had Cole over to the blog to ask a few questions...

What is your favorite thing about being a handmade business owner?
Someone asked me the other week what my job was and I said, "I stay home with my boys and make pretty flowers." How cool is that! I really am so blessed to be able to be home with them and at the same time be creating beautiful things. It doesn't feel like a job. I really do love every minute of it!

Where do you get your inspiration?
For the past year I feel like I've been reconstructing my life. I've become more cautious of what I'm filling my time with, what's consuming the majority of my days. And in doing that I've cut out a lot of junk and replaced it with positive, uplifting things. The changes I've noticed have been amazing. Every day I feel much more inspired. I don't feel like I have to go out looking for it. Great things happen when your intentional about filling yourself up only with the good.

What is your current favorite item in your shop?
Right now I really love the wedding bouquets that I'm working on. I was scared to take the leap into the wedding scene. The thought of working with bridezillas terrified me a bit. But so far it's been really great. And I feel so honored that someone would ask me to make something for there big day. It still feels really surreal.

How do you find time to do it all (mom of 2 boys, wife, handmade business owner, blogger...?)
I feel like I'm still learning how to balance it all. I think the most important lesson I've learned so far is that you have to set limits for yourself otherwise you'll be working non stop. I've made it a rule that I won't work on orders on the weekends when my husband is off. That way we can have a fun weekend together with the boys. I don't always keep to this rule, but I'm trying really hard to.
I think my other secret is that I wake up a couple of hours before my boys.

Tell us 5 things about yourself that's unrelated to your business!
1. I'm a mom to two silly, beautiful boys. Wife to the man of my dreams.
2. Born and raised in Arizona but I see our family making the jump overseas in the future.
3. My first tattoo was of a rose on my foot. I know that roses are the most commonly loved flower but I've always had a soft spot for them.
4. I have a special talent for making some seriously awesome mixed cds. Just ask my friends.
5. I'm just a gal unashamedly, radically in love with Jesus!
