Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day

October 15th is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day. I can't really think of much to say this year.

Just thinking of my boys...
Asher Stephen Casper (9/16/2006)
Cyrus John Casper (7/10/2007)

If you know someone who has lost a baby would you consider doing something kind for her? Bake cookies, send a card or note, let her know you're thinking of her and praying for her. Little gestures like this mean so much. No matter how much time passes the loss still hurts and is the ache never fully leaves.

Lauren,
Thanks for opening up your heart and sharing this. It helps me get more understanding in how to compassionately respond and also find ways to honor these little lives. I love your sons' names. God bless you today sweet mama.
Love,
Rory

Lauren,
My heart goes out to you. I am a new mommy and it breaks my heart to think of ever losing this precious baby boy I get to hold in my arms. A year ago today I was dealing with the loss of a miscarriage scared to get pregnant. Your post last year gave me hope and strength to have faith in god. Thank you for being a beautiful brave mommy.
God bless, Julia
